The world's most important trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry celebrates its 70th birthday this year.
More than 3,000 exhibitors from 60 countries present new products and innovations in the fields of machinery and equipment, raw materials and auxiliaries as well as semi-finished products, technical parts and products made of reinforced plastics.
Kurz Kurz Design was also on site for you and took a look around.
One of the major guiding themes of the trade show was the circular economy and, of course, related to this, climate and environmental protection.
The aim is to find solutions for environmental compatibility, resource conservation and waste avoidance.
But products made of plastics can also bring many other advantages.
Among other things, plastics enable lightweight construction or electromobility, are often much more efficient and at the same time make
complex shapes and structures possible. This also includes 3D printing, which is finding major applications in more and more areas.
The Science Campus was held again this year.
Renowned universities, colleges and scientific institutes presented exciting innovations and research results for the plastics and rubber industry.
